Homage Paid to Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Senior Party and state officials, commanding officers of the Korean People's Army, the chairperson of a friendly party, leading officials of the Party, armed forces and power bodies, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace to pay homage to President Kim Il Sung on Thursday on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.

A floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK was laid before the statue of the President.

They made a bow towards the statue of the President in humble reverence.

They paid homage to the President, a peerless patriot, peerlessly great man and benevolent father of the nation, in profound reverence.

Anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, servicepersons of the KPA and people from all walks of life visited the memorial palace on the same day.

Meanwhile, the diplomatic corps, the military attaches corps and representatives of international organizations here and Director-General of the International Institute of the Juche Idea Vishwanath, Secretary General of the IIJI Kenichi Ogami and his party, delegations and delegates of organizations for the study of the Juche idea in different countries and regions, friendship and tourist visiting groups of China and other foreign guests, overseas Koreans' delegations and art troupes and other overseas Koreans and the chief and members of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front also visited the palace to pay homage to the President.
