Displayed in the venues of the exhibitions were books and photos introducing the revolutionary careers, exploits and noble personalities of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with the Korean people's struggle for building a great prosperous and powerful nation.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremonies of the exhibitions.

The curator of the Russian Central Armed Forces Museum referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung gave origin to the Russia-DPRK friendship. The Korean People's Army has grown to be a matchless army strong enough to reliably defend the dignity and sovereignty of the country with arms under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, he added.

This exhibition will give Russians an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the army and people of the friendly DPRK and contribute to educating the younger generation in the idea of defending their country and patriotism.

The director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said that Kim Jong Il, chairman of the NDC of the DPRK, creditably carrying forward the noble cause of Kim Il Sung, has pursued the unique Songun politics, turning the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power which no formidable enemy dares provoke. He expressed conviction that the Korean people would surely convert their country into a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The vice-chairperson of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia, referring to the visit to the DPRK, said that Kim Il Sung was a great man who founded the Juche idea and fully embodied it in the revolution and construction.
