Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, was elected chairman of the group.

The chairman said at its inaugural ceremony that the group would open its Internet homepage to post on a systematic and regular basis works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and data on their Songun leadership feats and conduct the activities of introducing the Juche idea in various forms and ways, thus expanding the ranks of Juche idea followers and itself among the people from all walks of life in Switzerland.

He declared that the group would regularly sponsor a seminar on the Juche idea and have close ties with the International Institute of the Juche Idea and Juche idea study organizations in other countries and thus make positive contribution to briskly disseminating the Juche idea on a worldwide scale and strengthen the solidarity with the Korean people.
