Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is chairman of the DPRK-Indonesia Friendship Association, and officials concerned were on hand.

The participants watched the Korean documentary film "President Kim Il Sung Meets Foreign Heads of State and Prominent Figures" (Part 1).

Then followed a friendly meeting at which speeches were made. Speakers described Kim Jong Il's Indonesia visit in company with Kim Il Sung as a historic event that opened a new chapter of the DPRK-Indonesia friendship.

They expressed belief that the long-standing relations of friendship between the two countries would grow stronger in the future, too.

The participants enjoyed an art performance of schoolchildren and talked to each other about the matter of further developing the bilateral relationship.
