It deals with the successes made by the workers of the Songjin Steel Complex in rounding off the Juche iron production system of Korean style, those achieved by the workers in the field of the machine- building industry in putting production processes on a CNC basis and the labor achievements made by the workers of the February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex.

It also recounts stories that "Huichon speed", a new Chollima speed, was created in the major construction sites and there sprang up Mansudae Street, the Taedonggang Tile Factory, Majon Hotel and other monumental edifices in the era of Songun.
