US and S. Korean Warmongers' War Exercises under Fire
Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- It was recently reported that the U.S. forces and the south Korean puppet army staged what they called "combined live shell firing exercises" in Phochon of Kyonggi Province with huge armed forces and ultramodern war hardware involved.

These war maneuvers were staged under the simulated conditions of an actual battle. F-16 fighter bombers and copters with different missions mounted a preemptive attack on the "enemy's position" to put it under their control and tanks that had been hurled into the "rear" seized the "enemy's trench," supported by copters, and "advanced" towards "the enemy's position," firing live shells.

Minju Joson Thursday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

It is crystal clear to all that by the imaginary enemy's position in the war exercises the warmongers meant the position of the Korean People's Army and the above-said war exercises were, in the final analysis, undisguised war saber-rattling targeted against the DPRK.

What should not be overlooked is that the U.S. and the south Korean conservative group staged the war exercises on April 15.

They must be well aware that this Day of the Sun is significantly commemorated not only by the Koreans but by all other progressives.

This being a hard reality, they fixed this day for staging exercises for firing live shells at "enemy's position" with so huge armed forces and various type ultramodern military hardware involved. This clearly indicates how desperately they work to get on the nerves of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK.

The recent saber-rattling goes to prove once again that the U.S. and the south Korean conservatives are pushing ahead with the preparations for a war of aggression against the DPRK in real earnest after making its outbreak an established fact.

Its army and people will blow up the stronghold of the aggressors, should they dare ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK.

They would be well advised to behave themselves, bearing this in mind.
