The festival showed well the noble ideological and moral world and feature of the rising generation growing to be reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche, remaining intensely loyal to General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present at the closing ceremony were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and school youth and children.

Pyongyang, North Hamgyong and South Hwanghae provincial youth leagues won the excellent results in the festival.

Ri Yong Chol, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, in his closing address called on all the school youth and children to conduct brisk mass cultural and art activities and mass sports activities and take an active part in the social and political activities to play role of the youth vanguard and the children's guard.
