Carried in the bulletin "Independence and President Kim Il Sung" issued by the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea "Kanggye" of Colombia on April 11 were articles titled "Holding high the banner of independence", "Heroic epic of defence of sovereignty" and "Provision of rock-firm self-supporting economy".

In those articles the bulletin noted that Kim Il Sung fathered the Juche idea, the Songun idea, led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to liberate Korea, founded the DPRK and worked miracles of history by defeating the U.S. imperialists, who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world, in the Fatherland Liberation War.

It said that the independent national economy of the DPRK reached the high level whereby it successfully launched at one go the satellites manufactured with its own efforts and technology 100 per cent and that thanks to this economy the DPRK has definitely ensured independence in politics and self-reliance in national defence.

The preparatory committee of Democratic Congo to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung on April 15 released a bulletin carrying a portrait of smiling President and articles praising his undying exploits.
