At the press conference speakers charged that the ministry is persistently obstructing the workers' reunification movement for implementing the June 15 joint declaration under the unreasonable pretexts.

The present authorities' undisguised control and hindrance to non-governmental exchange and cooperation resulted in such vicious cycle as retrogression of inter-Korean relations, they pointed out, contending that the blame for the present crisis is on the authorities of the "government" and the ministry.

They demanded that the authorities retract their wrong stand on non-governmental cooperation and exchange and opt for the improvement and progress of the south-north relations.
