Noting that the Day of the Sun is significantly commemorated in Brazil, too, the statement said that the Korean people are foiling the constant war moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers one by one under the leadership of Kim Jong Il and the Workers' Party of Korea.

It stressed that the members of the Brazilian Communist Party wish the heroic Korean people great successes in their struggle to defend the national sovereignty and advance socialism to victory.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, too, issued a joint statement on April 14.

The statement praised President Kim Il Sung as the legendary hero, gifted strategist, invincible and iron-willed commander, great thinker-theoretician and prominent leader of the international labor movement.

It called upon the Juche idea followers to make deeper study of the President's career and revolutionary activities.
