Present there were Ho Jong Man, chief vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Nam Sung U, its vice-chairman, and others.

Jo Han Ju, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Teachers and School Clerks in Japan, in a report made at the meeting extended the highest glory and the warmest thanks to Kim Jong Il for having continuously sent educational aid fund and stipends for the development of the democratic national education of Chongryon true to the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung.

He recalled that Kim Jong Il ceaselessly sent educational aid fund and stipends even during the "Arduous March", the forced march and repeatedly indicated important guidelines to be held fast to in the field of national education.

He called upon all the educational workers of Chongryon to turn out in the drive to further glorify the national education as the lifeline of the movement of the Koreans in Japan and as a bulwark for preserving and carrying forward the national identity of the Korean community in Japan.
