Wreaths Laid before Fallen Fighters of CPV
Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the families of fallen fighters of the Chinese People's Volunteers headed by Guan Youfei, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defense, laid wreaths before the grave of Mao Anying and the cemetery of fallen fighters of the CPV in Hoechang County, South Phyongan Province, on Tuesday.

Present there were officers of the Korean People's Army, officials of party and power organs in the county and military attaches of the Chinese embassy here.

Laid before the grave and the cemetery were wreaths in the name of the DPRK Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, party and power organs in the county, the Chinese embassy and the delegation.

Also placed before the grave of Mao Anying was a wreath in the name of the martyr's family.

The participants paid silent tribute to Mao Anying and other fallen fighters of the CPV who laid down their lives while heroically fighting in the Korean war.

The delegation visited the Songhung Revolutionary Site and laid a wreath before the Friendship Tower on the same day.
