The statement referred to the fact that the south Korean workers have fought in the van of the struggle for independence, democracy and reunification.

It called upon the workers to turn out in a courageous struggle for breaking the chains of capital as well as the wire entanglements splitting the nation into two and the chains of the neo-liberal policy.

Underscoring the need for all the workers to further strengthen their unity in order to put an end to the exploitation by capital and the colonial rule, it declared that the organization would positively support the workers who devote themselves, fully aware of their historic mission, and take the lead in the solidarity actions.
