In a signed article the daily goes on to say:

When all Koreans in the north and the south and overseas single-mindedly unite and strengthen solidarity and alliance on this basis, this will help find a solution to the fundamental issue in reunifying the country and lead to the smooth settlement of other issues.

This is proved by the successes achieved by the fellow countrymen in their dynamic struggle for achieving the unity of the entire nation under the banner of "By our nation itself" after the publication of the historic June 15 joint declaration.

It is beyond any doubt that a greater advance can be made in the efforts to accomplish the cause of reunification when all Koreans achieve solidarity and alliance and take joint actions with their patriotic efforts and enthusiasm to attain reunification.

They should steadily intensify the reunification movement while positively pursuing visits and contacts, dialogue and solidarity and alliance in the idea of "By our nation itself".

All the reunification movement organizations and compatriots of different circles in the north and the south and overseas should develop on a new higher stage the solidarity and alliance centering around All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration, an umbrella organization for solidarity in the nationwide reunification movement.

The people from all walks of life at home and abroad can foil any move against reunification when they go united close as a patriotic force, boost solidarity and take dynamic joint actions.
