Social Science Book in Print
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- A serial book titled "Collection of Korean Social Science Works" has been compiled and published by the Academy of Social Sciences of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The book deals with all the successes the country has made in social science on the basis of the immortal Juche idea.

Contained in the series are books, treatises and other valuable works written by academicians, candidate academicians, professors and doctors renowned in social science circles of the country, including Hong Ki Mun and Kim Sok Hyong.

The collection, the first of its kind in the country, is composed of the revolutionary history of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu -- President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk -- philosophy, economics, law, linguistics, literature, history, national classics, folklore and archaeology.

Several hundred volumes of the series have been compiled and some 50 volumes have already come out.

The publication of the already compiled volumes will be concluded in 2012 marking the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, and the compilation of the book will be continued, replenished by new successes.
