The festival involved a prize contest in city layout planning, dwelling house interior designing and hotel interior designing, a public presentation of scientific papers on architecture and construction and a contest in architectural design programs and multi-media creation.

Entries into the festival included valuable papers conducive to developing the nation's architectural and construction science and technology, architectural design programs and multi-media worked out by use of latest IT means and etc.

The participants showed keen interest in province, city, county seat layout plans which vividly show the appearance of streets and villages of socialist fairyland and designs of various dwelling houses and hotels of diverse styles making formative art representation of elements and contents of the architectural formation.

A closing ceremony was held at the People's Palace of Culture on Friday.
