Noting that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the formation of Pomminryon and the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, the organization said that it is regrettable that compatriots in the north and the south and abroad can not observe these anniversaries together due to the authorities' policy of confrontation.

The organization declared that it would form the committee for promoting the work to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Pomminryon, publish a white paper on Pomminryon's activities and the struggle for national independence and great national unity and hold a seminar on the tasks and role of the reunification movement camp on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration.

It stressed that it would call a press conference for implementing the inter-Korean declarations, building peace mechanism and legalizing Pomminryon in the future and thus demonstrate internally and externally the will of the nation for peace and reunification.
