Attending the seminar were personages of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism and the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea and masses.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, in his report referred to the significance of holding the seminar and briefed the attendants on the undying exploits of the President who provided the great tradition of the great national unity and dedicated his whole life to the cause of national reunification.

The President's idea of great national unity has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il, he said, expressing belief that the Korean people would bring about a new turn in the national reunification movement this significant year marking the 65th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Juan Campos Vega, chairman of the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche idea, and other speakers spoke highly of the validity and vitality of the idea of national reunification set forth by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the great exploits performed by them for the cause of national reunification. They explained and proved the epoch-making changes that have taken place in the movement for national reunification since the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

Kim Il Sung's last instructions for national reunification will surely be implemented under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il, they said, expressing full support and solidarity with the WPK and the people of the DPRK in the efforts to achieve national reunification under the banner of the joint declaration.
