Foreign Ministry Blasts Israeli FM as Imbecile
Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- A fine art exhibition on the theme of "Painters of Pyongyang" opened with due ceremony at a museum in Treviso, Italy, on May 7 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Italy.

Displayed in its venue are books on the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and more than 100 Korean fine art pieces.

Attending the ceremony were personages of the Italy-DPRK Cultural Association and the Treviso City Office and masses of different circles. Present on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to Italy and staff members of his embassy.

Speeches were made there.

The vice-mayor of Treviso said that the exhibition would offer Italians an opportunity to see for themselves the Korean fine art developing with each passing day under the care of the party and government of the DPRK, and expressed the will to make every possible effort to develop the friendly relations with the Korean people.

The chairman of the above-said association said that the exhibition would provide an important occasion in widely introducing Korean culture and further strengthening the development of relationship between the two countries.

After looking round the exhibits, visitors lavished praises, saying that Korean fine art is fascinating for its exquisite, graceful and unique nature.

The exhibition will last till June 6.
