The prevailing situation underscores the urgent necessity to make a clean sweep of the group of traitors in south Korea hell-bent on the anti-reunification actions and confrontation in order to mend the strained inter-Korean relations and advance the cause of national reunification, the article stressed.

The south Korean people's resentment against the ruling forces is running high, the article says, and continues: The anti-conservative sentiment is growing strong in the political camp including the opposition parties as they are disillusioned with the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the dictatorship veiled with the word of "pragmatism."

Various circles have the same desire and goal to eliminate the conservative forces from the political arena and their spirit and will to fight are sky-high.

Unity serves as a powerful weapon in actions and a guarantee for victory. When different political parties and organizations in south Korea and broad strata of its people desirous of independence, democracy and reunification form a grand alliance against the conservatives and take joint actions, they can surely emerge victorious in the above-said elections no matter how desperately the conservative ruling forces may work, concludes the article.
