Rice transplanting started on co-op farms in South Hwanghae Province including the Sambong Cooperative Farm in Kangryong County in the wake of its kick-off on the Wonhwa Cooperative Farm in Phyongwon County, South Phyongan Province, and the Chongsan Cooperative Farm in Kangso District, Nampho City.

From its very start the rice transplanting is making brisk headway on those farms which have grown healthy rice seedlings despite unprecedentedly bad weather.

Watering, harrowing, leveling, etc. are kept ahead of other work and rice transplanting machines are working in full capacity, steadily expanding the area of paddies every day. Additional planting of rice seedlings is being pushed forward simultaneously.
