Book "Collection of Building Thriving Nation" Off Press
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- A Korean book "Collection of works on building a thriving nation" (1, 2) came off the press in the DPRK.

The book contains successful literary works created by writers, amateur writers and working people in various parts of the country.

Edited in "Spark" of the above-mentioned collection of works (1) are poems and essays including a lyric poem "Where the molten iron boils" praising the undying feats General Secretary Kim Jong Il performed by kindling the torch for a great surge in Kangson, the cradle of the Chollima movement, making hot waves of the drive for great innovations and leap forward sweep over all the country.

Selected short poems "Our soil", a short story "Pulsating sound" and others edited in the above-mentioned collection of works (2) "Higher!" reflect the noble spiritual world of all the service persons of the Korean People's Army and people of the DPRK all out in the general offensive for building a thriving nation and improving the people's standard of living and the stirring reality of the country.

The collection of works is expected to appear as series without let-up.
