On display in the venue were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, photos on their immortal feats, books introducing Songun Korea and handiworks associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.

The mayor of Tayacaja, addressing its opening ceremony, said that it is their honor to hold such an excellent exhibition one year since the city registered the three commanders of Mt. Paektu of Korea as its honorary citizens and on the publication anniversaries of Kim Jong Il's works.

Expressing belief that the exhibition will contribute to further deepening the ties of friendship between the peoples of the two countries, between the citizens of Tayacaja City and the Korean people in particular, he sincerely hoped that more significant events such as the current exhibition would be held.
