Opera "A Dream of Red Mansions" Goes On in China

| Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- The Phibada Opera Troupe of the DPRK on a visit to China gave premiere of opera "A Dream of Red Mansions" in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on May 14. The Huhehaote State Grand Theatre, the venue of the opera performance, was packed to overflowing with a great number of audiences. Among the audience were party and government officials from the capital city and the autonomous region and cadres of the army. The audience was in passion and excitement from beginning to end, filled with the ardent Korea-China friendship. |
