After explaining some issues arising in cultivating young rice-plants, he moved to a harrowed rice field to see a machine transplanting rice seedlings.

Examining the rice-transplanting carefully, he asked an official of the farm when the field was harrowed. The official answered that it was harrowed one day ago.

The President told him that in order to transplant rice seedlings properly, harrow should be done 7-10 days before rice transplanting as they set out rice-plants with the help of machines.

He then said that rice seedlings would not be planted well if fields were not harrowed in advance.
