Struggle of Workers and Peasants Declared in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The Confederation of Trade Unions, the Federation of Peasants Associations and the Federation of Women Peasants Associations of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on Monday at which they declared a solidarity struggle of workers and peasants. The organizations clarified that workers and peasants will pool their efforts in the campaign for the victory of the progressive forces in the upcoming "elections to the local self-governing bodies", implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and total revision of the "law on trade union" and in other struggles to win democratic rights. |
