DPRK Beats Thai in AFC Women's Asian Cup

| Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The AFC Women's Asian Cup 2010 was kicked off on Wednesday. The AFC Women's Asian Cup 2010 which will last till May 30 in Chengdu of China brought together teams of eight countries and regions. The teams of the DPRK, Myanmar, Thailand and Japan belong to Group A of league matches. The DPRK team trounced its Thai rival 3:0 in the first match with it held on Thursday. It will meet with its Myanmar rival on May 22. |
