The other introduces hundreds of time-honored folk plays, divided into three parts -- martial arts and physical training, intellectual development, and songs, dances and amusements.

The book deals with origins, methods and development of the traditional folk plays, specific plays of some areas, anecdotes, etc.

It also provides historical records of folk plays, which had been popular in the country, to help readers get a deep understanding of current folk plays.
