Anniversary of Start of Work at WPK Marked

| Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place in Mexico, a lecture in Guinea and a film show in Russia between May 17 and 20 on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. Speeches were made at the functions. The chief of a district in Mexico City of Mexico hoped that the Korean people would achieve great success in their efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful nation and reunify the country under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il this year marking the 65th birthday of the WPK. Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, said that the Korean people boundlessly trust and follow Kim Jong Il who has worked day and night for the people and happy future without taking care of himself. After watching the Korean film "Party Founding Memorial Tower," the general director of a company of Russia said that he came to know well about the origin of the WPK and its brilliant history. |
