Japan's Moral Vulgarity Slammed
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, remains of several Koreans were discovered in an airfield construction site of the former Imperial Japanese Army in Hokkaido of Japan. They are just part of the so many Koreans who were beaten and stabbed to death and buried alive by the Japanese imperialists.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes this in a signed commentary.

It goes on:

The whereabouts of many of those who were taken to Japan still remain unknown. This is attributable to the attitude and stand of the Japanese government.

Japan must know better than any others where the remains of Koreans were buried and how many they were. However, Japan is turning away from this issue, feigning ignorance of it.

The Japanese government does not feel the pricks of conscience as regards the aggression perpetrated by the Japanese imperialists in the past but runs the whole gamut of cynical ploys to evade the responsibility for it.

The Japanese reactionaries are going so arrogant as to claim that Japan has no obligation to make any apology and reparation to Korea. Lurking behind this attitude of Japan is a sinister intention to justify and repeat its crimes committed in the past.

If the hostile relations between the DPRK and Japan reach the extremity, they can hardly escape an explosion. In pursuit of this aim the Japanese reactionaries are staging an unprecedented anti-DPRK campaign, driving the situation into an extreme phase. This campaign, however, will get Japan nowhere as its reckless moves will only bring disaster to itself.

The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to honor their commitment, well aware that the settlement of their past crimes is beneficial for Japan's security and peaceful life.
