The benevolent politics of the WPK, an embodiment of President Kim Il Sung's idea of believing in people as in Heaven, serves as the main source of the great single-minded unity, the powerful motive force of training the army and people of the DPRK to be persons strong in idea and faith and the driving force helping give the fullest play to the inexhaustible creative ingenuity of the army and people in their drive to build a great prosperous and powerful nation.

Our single-minded unity represents the most stable harmonious whole in which the headquarters of the revolution and the army and people share the same idea and destiny and the society in the DPRK is a big socialist family in which all the people lead a genuine life, holding General Secretary Kim Jong Il in high esteem as their father.

If there be any almighty being in the world, it is the popular masses, and the Korean people with tremendous creative talents and enthusiasm can not but be called "great". This is the noble outlook of Kim Jong Il on the people.

There are a lot of countries in the world and all of them have their state leaders. But, the world knows no such great statesman as Kim Jong Il who arouses the revolutionary enthusiasm and creative activity of the servicepersons and people, always finding himself among them.

Our servicepersons created new Chollima Speed, "Huichon Speed" in the Songun era and the workers of the Songjin Steel Complex, the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the February 8 Vinalon Complex performed the miracles of mass-producing Juche-based iron and fiber in the 21st century, thus bringing about great auspicious events to the whole country. They are a shining fruition of Kim Jong Il's politics based on love and trust.
