S. Korea's Refusal to Receive NDC Inspection under Fire
|
|
Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet authorities have persistently refused to receive an inspection group of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, asserting that "a scientific and objective investigation conducted by Korean and foreign experts finally confirmed that the ship Cheonan was sunken by a torpedo attack of the north." In this regard Minju Joson Thursday says in a signed commentary: The puppet authorities desperately refused to receive the inspection group because they are not in a position to produce before the inspection group material evidence proving that the warship was sunken by "the north's torpedo attack." Even after the publication of the "results of investigation", experts and other people of south Korea asserted that the warship ran against a rock, putting forward understandable reasons for it. The puppet authorities threatened those who asserted so and now have gone the lengths of working to punish such people on the charge of "spreading groundless rumors." This, however, only results in bringing to light the inside story about the farce orchestrated by them. A liar has short wings and a gimlet protruding from a sack cannot be hidden. The truth behind the farce will become clearer as the days go by. The Lee Myung Bak group will certainly be forced to pay for having cooked up the shocking case as part of its smear campaign against the DPRK to bring the inter-Korean relations to a collapse and increase the danger of a new war, a nuclear war. |
