The editorial says:

The above-said spirit is the great revolutionary spirit with which Kim Jong Il is bringing into brilliant reality the intention and desire of President Kim Il Sung who dedicated himself to the country and its people all his life despite snow and rain and the persevering spirit of offensive of the brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu that one is sure to emerge victorious in every battle and should unconditionally carry out whatever one determines to do.

And it is the spirit of the harmonious whole based on his ardent comradeship and trust in the army and people and the noble patriotic spirit displayed by him in demonstrating the might of the country before the world and bringing boundless happiness to the Korean people.

Everything should be done the way the President did and every effort should be made to realize all his desires and ideas. This is the fundamental spirit fully displayed during Kim Jong Il's indefatigable forced march.

The remarkable speed of advance of the DPRK, which dashes toward the world while giving full play to the tremendous potential built in the crucible of Songun, constitutes a brilliant embodiment of Kim Jong Il's spirit of offensive and spirit of uninterrupted revolution.

Thanks to the forced march of Kim Jong Il who has shown all loving care and benevolence for the servicepersons and people, undergoing every difficulty and hardship, the single-minded unity of the DPRK has remarkably grown stronger and astonishing miracles are reported from every part of the country.

The DPRK is demonstrating its dignity as a satellite launcher of global level and such miracles as pushing back the frontiers of the latest science are being worked one after another in different parts of the country. This would be unthinkable without the above-said spirit of Kim Jong Il who is tirelessly working heart and soul, running against the time.

The editorial calls on everybody to give fuller play to the spirit of effecting a great revolutionary surge true to the leadership of the great party and bring earlier the final victory in the drive for building a thriving nation.
