It, divided into theoretical and practical courses at the Sports Science Library and Physical Training Center in Chongchun Street respectively, was attended by teachers, sports medicine researchers and doctors from Korea University of Physical Education, Sports Medicine Institute of the Academy of Sports Science, sports teams and juvenile sports schools.

It deals with such issues as concept of recovery exercise, method of recovering from injury and hydropathy.

Jorg Teichmann, a lecturer of the Olympic Council of Asia, presided over the workshop.
