Russia Declares Its Stand on Case of "Cheonan"

| Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Igor Lyakin-Frolov, official deputy spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, declared on May 26 that Russia would not refer the case of the sinking of south Korea's warship "Cheonan" to the UN Security Council nor support such action until it possesses 100 percent correct evidence that the DPRK has anything to do with the case. Saying that Russian experts are now examining the "results of investigation," he stated: We should make the conclusions by ourselves, so everything will depend on the circumstances and definite evidence." |
