The NDC spokesman in a statement on May 20 categorically rejected the "farce" orchestrated by the south Korean authorities to shuffle off the responsibility for sinking case of warship "Cheonan" upon the DPRK, the statement said, and went on:

The south Korean regime is crying out for "punishment", "retaliation" and "sanctions" against the DPRK.

The U.S. and Japan are chiming in with it.

The Lee Myung Bak clique is abusing the above-said case to provoke a war against the DPRK.

The pro-U.S. ultra-right ruling quarters of south Korea will have to bear full responsibility for all the consequences to be entailed by their war provocation moves.

Alexandre Mounbaris, chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Front of France, said in a statement on May 23 that it was quite just for the NDC spokesman to declare that the DPRK would react to the foolish smear campaign of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet authorities with various tough measures including an all-out war.
