The BCP Central Committee vehemently denounces the imperialists' propaganda against the DPRK over the sinking case of the warship "Cheonan", the statement said, and went on:

The U.S. imperialists fabricated the sinking case of a warship of south Korea and launched propaganda campaign for stirring up animosity toward the DPRK in order to find an excuse for invading it, thus seriously violating its sovereignty.

The government and the people of the DPRK have the legitimate right to defend the sovereignty of their country from the imperialist aggressors.

The C.C., the BCP extends once again support and solidarity to the just struggle of the Korean people led by the Workers' Party of Korea.

Edmond Jouve, director-general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, in a statement released on May 25 to support the statement of a spokesman for the DPRK NDC, noted that it is the consistent stand and steadfast principle of the DPRK to react to "sanctions" with retaliation and to "confrontation" with an all-out war.
