The Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea made public the "results of investigation" groundlessly linking the sinking of the warship "Cheonan" with the DPRK and has since intensified the anti-DPRK moves as never before, the statement said, and went on:

The DPRK had already clarified that it has nothing to do with the above-said case and, through a statement of a spokesman for its NDC, notified the south side that it would send an inspection group to south Korea for fair probe into the case.

The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, however, launched an intensive anti-DPRK smear campaign, trumpeting about what it called "retaliation." The campaign is joined by the U.S.

This has created on the Korean Peninsula such situation where a war may break out any moment.

The association strongly demands that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities respect the sovereignty of the DPRK and stop at once the dangerous moves they are conducting, crying out for "retaliation" and "sanctions" against it, said the statement.
