Lee Myung Bak Group's Outbursts for War Blasted
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- Lee Myung Bak of south Korea was reported to have told a recent "conference of elder statesmen" that his group has so far "put emphasis on threats from outside" while "overlooking threat at home" and that "it has failed to establish the conception of the principal enemy" over the past decade.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

This is little short of an instruction to completely revive the "conception of the principal enemy". Lee's outbursts clearly indicate his bellicose scenario to fan up the hostility toward the DPRK to the extreme phase under the pretext of the warship sinking, adopt it as a policy to escalate confrontation and tensions and provoke a nuclear war of aggression against the DPRK.

The "conception of the principal enemy" had been thrown into the dumping ground of history by the fellow countrymen after being rebuffed and censured for being an anachronistic theory of confrontation and war contrary to the June 15 era of reunification. The confrontation agitated by Lee with this "conception" revived can never be overlooked as it is a treacherous act to launch a war against the DPRK at any cost, keeping the inter-Korean relations in the state of uncontrollable catastrophe.

The formal stipulation of the "conception of the principal enemy" precisely means the stipulation of a scenario for a war of aggression against the DPRK.

The DPRK will take one merciless action after another to react to the "retaliation" of provocateurs, just as it had declared, now that the puppet group of south Korea has become undisguised in its scheme to launch a war of aggression against the DPRK by abusing the case of warship sinking.

The puppet group will be fully accountable for all the ensuing consequences.
