Choe Un Bok, chairperson of the general association, said in a report at the meeting that all the achievements made in realizing national reunification since the publication of the joint declaration would have been unthinkable without the unremitting efforts and distinguished leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, who ushered in the era of independent reunification with his patriotic will for reunification and bold decision and has led it along the road of victory.

The reporter slashed at the vicious anti-reunification actions of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, which has driven the inter-Korean relations to the brink of war by forcibly linking the sinking case of the puppet navy's warship with the DPRK while totally denying the historic north-south joint declaration and getting hell-bent on the confrontation with the DPRK.

Officials of the association and all Koreans in China will intensify the patriotic reunification movement to remove the growing danger of a war from the Korean Peninsula, drive the U.S. forces out of south Korea at an early date and throw the separatist forces of south Korea into the dustbin of history, the reporter declared.
