The chairman of the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship and other personages said in their speeches at the meeting that President Kim Il Sung put forward the fair proposals and ways to terminate the country's division and present a reunified country to the Korean people.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il provided the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, a milestone of Korea's reunification, with his broad magnanimity and bold decision true to the cause of the President, they said, adding: This is a great feat to shine long in the history of the nation.

They accused the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors of having orchestrated the sinking case of warship "Cheonan" and getting frantic in its moves to stifle the DPRK in collusion with the U.S. imperialists while undisguisedly denying the inter-Korean joint declarations and pushing the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase.

The chairman of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism in a speech praised the immortal feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for national reunification.

A message of solidarity to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.
