Speeches were made at the meeting following a report by Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the union.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Il developed the WPK to be the glorious party of President Kim Il Sung and a powerful force guiding the Songun revolution.

They noted that a shining reality was brought about on the socialist homeland thanks to Kim Jong Il's patriotic devotion.

They stressed the need to vigorously launch a general offensive for improving the standard of people's living in all places for effecting a great surge true to the intention of the WPK to make this year a year of prosperity replete with people's happiness and thus fully demonstrate the patriotic stamina of the Korean women in the Songun era.
