The declaration said the committee was inaugurated with confidence and desire for the nation's march for independent reunification making a dynamic advance on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration.

It appealed to all the youth and students to become standard-bearers for reunification by steadfastly carrying forward the spirit displayed in those days when they always stood in the van of the struggle under the banner of the joint declaration.

It said that the organization will discharge its mission and role in intensifying the movement for reunification and the students movement and wage a dynamic struggle for national reunification against the U.S. and Lee Myung Bak.
