The secretary general said at the interview that General Secretary Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea 46 years back, adding that seminars and lectures on his works, film shows and other colorful events are taking place in various countries on this day.

Kim Jong Il, a creditable successor to the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung, has developed the WPK into an ever-victorious party deeply rooted among the popular masses through his outstanding ideological and theoretical activities and with his dynamic leadership, he noted, and continued:

The Songun politics is the most effective and unique political mode.

The DPRK is a great country resolutely struggling against the moves of the imperialist allied forces.

The Korean people are dynamically advancing towards a bright morrow despite the tense situation because they are under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Our party voices full support and solidarity with the WPK and the Korean people decisively foiling the moves of the imperialists.
