Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- The Pakistan Organization for Afro-Asian People's Solidarity, the Pakistan Trade Union Federation, the Pakistan Peasants Committee, the Pakistan Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification and the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association made public a joint statement on June 12 in support of the statement released by a spokesman for the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. The joint statement noted that the south Korean authorities have gone so impudent as to announce the "results of investigation" asserting that the warship "Cheonan" was sunken by a torpedo attack of the DPRK and have gone the lengths of crying out for "punishment" and "retaliation" and even the international community's "sanctions" on the DPRK under that pretext. The case of warship "Cheonan's" sinking is a sheer fabrication cooked up by the south Korean authorities under the patronage and at the tacit connivance of the U.S., it said, adding that the DPRK is a righteous country and therefore, the military scheme against it is absolutely intolerable. The General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute in its statement on May 29 denounced the south Korean puppet group for slandering the DPRK while letting loose ridiculous remarks that warship "Cheonan" was sunken by a "torpedo attack" of the DPRK. Lee Myung Bak crying out for "retaliation" is a trickster and servant of the U.S., it said, expressing support for the principled stand of the DPRK. The Bulgarian Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in its statement on June 14 expressed resentment against the campaign of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities to shuffle off the responsibility for the warship sinking upon the DPRK. It asserted that the case occurred when the U.S.-south Korean joint military exercises were in the process. Meanwhile, a local government official of Sri Lanka who is the deputy director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, W. A. Dumindwardane, secretary general of the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association, and a secretary of the association, and Upali Bandara, secretary general of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies, made public a joint statement on June 5 in denunciation of the anti-DPRK campaign of the U.S. and Lee Myung Bak group of traitors. |
