Performances were given here by artistes of the national art groups.

The artistes of the Orchestra of the Yun I Sang Music Institute gave a performance at the Yun I Sang Concert Hall. Put on the stage were violin solo "We Will Be Loyal down through Generations", female solo "Korea, I will Glorify Thee", an immortal classic masterpiece, violin ensemble "Our Father Marshal Kim Jong Il" and other numbers.

The Art Squad of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League performed at the plaza of the Party Founding Memorial Tower. Numbers including narration and small chorus "Long Live the Workers' Party of Korea", mixed duet and small chorus "Party Is Embrace of the General", male quintet "His Ideal", choral recital of poem and small chorus "Appearance of Korea" touched heartstrings of the audience.

Actors and actresses of the Pyongyang Circus presented physical acrobatics "Trampoline Rotation", "Balancing Stunt", "Strength Talent" and "Diverse Flight", animal circus "Bears' Rope jumping" and other numbers at the Pyongyang Circus Theater, pleasing the citizens demonstrating their merits in on-going great drive and instilling optimism into them.

On the same day music and dance performances were held at theatres in local areas including North Phyongan, South Hwanghae, South Hamgyong and Kangwon Provinces.
