Expressing deep apprehension over the situation of the Korean Peninsula extremely aggravated due to the recent sinking case of warship "Cheonan", the statement stressed that the U.S. and its followers would suffer a bitter defeat from the Korean people.

The Korean people will neither pardon nor forget the criminal acts of the U.S., it said, expressing solidarity with their cause of justice.

The Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) issued a statement on June 17 on the occasions of the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain in its statement on June 14 expressed support for the June 15 joint declaration, a historic landmark of Korea's reunification, and urged the south Korean authorities to stop the anti-DPRK smear campaign at once.

Lucas Nguema Esono, general secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, said in a statement on June 15 that the publication of the June 15 joint declaration was a historic event which brought about a signal advance in the Korean people's struggle for reunification.

Tin Tun, director of a Myanmar medical research institute, stressed in a statement on June 14 that the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea would surely be realized in the near future under the Songun politics of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
