The Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia in its statement on June 15 noted that the "Cheonan" sinking case was a fabrication orchestrated by the south Korean authorities in collusion with the U.S. from A to Z, adding that the south Korean authorities referred the case to the UN Security Council some time ago defying the repeated warnings of the DPRK.

Branding this unjust measure as a dangerous act to stoke the military tensions and ignite a war in the Korean Peninsula, the statement went on:

We assert that the south Korean authorities should receive the inspection group of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK as soon as possible and the UNSC treat the "Cheonan" case in line with the principled stand of the DPRK.

We extend wholehearted support to all the measures taken by the DPRK concerning the case and the just efforts of the DPRK people and youth for peace and reunification in the Korean Peninsula.

On the same day, the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK in its resolution demanded the south Korean authorities immediately receive the inspection group of the NDC of the DPRK.
