On display there were photos and books introducing exploits performed by Kim Jong Il in his Songun leadership and the struggle for national reunification and his works published by various publishing houses in the Far Eastern region.

Speakers at the meeting said that the epoch-making events taking place in the motherland would be unthinkable without the wise leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Il.

The June 15 joint declaration is a line of independent reunification which calls on the Koreans to reunify the country by their concerted efforts and a milestone of reunification to be consistently held fast to by all of them in the north and the south and abroad, they stressed, adding:

The U.S. imperialists and the Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea are pushing the situation in the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war by fabricating the case of the sunk warship "Cheonan", but peace will be firmly preserved in Korea and the day of national reunification is sure to come as long as there is the DPRK remaining strong thanks to the Songun politics.
