The sterilizer is mainly sprayed on seeds in treatment and crops in growing period. Bactericidal matters are nanoprocessed separately and mixed before use.

According to the Central Information Agency for Science and Technology, some units, including the Samjigang Co-op Farm in Jaeryong County, South Hwanghae Province, used a little amount of sterilizer per ton of rice seeds to have a per-hectare yield higher than tens of kilograms of iron sulphate.

The Hwasong Vegetable Co-op Farm in Ryongsong District, Pyongyang, and other farms have also used the sterilizer in cultivating rice, bean, cucumber, red pepper, etc. to exterminate harmful insects.

The new invention has been applied to grain and vegetable fields in Pyongyang, North and South Hwanghae provinces and South Phyongan Province.
